Watch Me Take the Blood Type Test at Home

Many of us are waking up to realizing that it just doesn’t make sense for us to follow any type of diet out there just because a bunch of people said so. And a growing group of us are realizing that our health has something to do with our blood type.

The dilemma is that most of us don’t know our blood type. Well, in this article and video, I want to show you exactly how to take the Eldon at-home blood type test. If you haven’t gotten yours yet, you can get one here for $10.

Taking this test was tricky when I did it the first time (... and the second time to record this video, so this is my third time, all for YOU).

Watch the video and read the instructions I have laid out for you below.

The Official Steps (Don’t Skip Any)

  1. Prepare a bowl or cup of water.

  2. Remove everything from the packages before starting.

  3. Break up your sticks and set them aside.

  4. Use your dropper to place one drop of water into each circle of the collection card to activate the solution.

  5. Take the lancet and twist the stick to the right and pull straight out. Set it aside.

  6. Use the alcohol wipe to clean the finger you will prick.

  7. Swing your hand and arm for about 10 seconds.

  8. Press the white part of the lancet, with the hole, onto you finger and press the yellow button until you hear a click and feel that your finger has been pricked.

  9. Grab a collection stick. Push the area around the puncture to bring the blood out. Collect the blood with the sticks and place them onto the circles on the collection card.

  10. Tilt the card forward, backward, left and right so that the blood mixture spreads across the entirety of the circles.

  11. Compare the appearance of your blood solutions to the results on the back of the instructions sheet.

Placing Emphasis on These Steps!

1.  You must read the instructions straight across the fold, NOT like a book or else you will skip step 3, which is an important step!

2.  To use the puncture device (aka lancet) you must first TWIST the protective cap to the right, THEN pull it straight out (steps 3 and 4).  Ignoring step 3 is how I broke the lancet in my first demo attempt and it didn’t prick me.

3.  Swing your arm and hand to increase blood flow BEFORE you prick so that you don’t run out of blood for all 4 of the sticks and testing circles.  (It’s a good idea to buy at least 2 blood type tests just in case you break the lancet or run out of blood so that you can have a back-up lancet to prick yourself again.)

What’s Happening to the Blood: Agglutination

The circle of the blood mixture that shows a separation of blood particles is what happens when your blood agglutinates.  Agglutination happens when you eat foods that disagree with your blood type.  The ingested lectins (food proteins) that are incompatible with your blood type antigens will clump your cells together and your body targets them for destruction.  This whole process causes inflammation and seemingly unrelated, but definitely related, diseases.

Your best bet is to learn your blood type with a test, start eliminating foods that agglutinate your blood and incorporating foods that don’t.

What to Do After You’ve Learned You Blood Type

After you’ve learned your blood type, using the at-home test or any of the methods mentioned in my previous article, you owe it to yourself to do something useful with this knowledge. Believe it or not, the current state of your health is dependent on how well you are adhering to your blood type preferences, specifically the foods you eat.

Check out the food lists for each blood type using the links below to learn what foods you should eat based on your blood type.
