What I Eat in a Week on the Blood Type O Diet - Jan 2025

Guess what.

I spent this week trying a new thing… VLOGGING!

Every day on my blood type diet journey is filled with lessons that I experience and want to share.  But for the longest time, I couldn’t figure out how to package it all up, let alone remember what the lesson is, since I’m always so busy during the week.

Plus these lessons have become my normal reflex responses to any food situation, so they don’t really stand out to me anymore as aha moments.

However, you being new to this, I realize that you may be so oblivious to what awaits you on this blood type journey.

Thankfully, and ironically, on YouTube, videos on vlogging had been coming across my feed, talking about how easy it is.  And after watching a few, IT CLICKED!

I can just vlog my week and base it around my food choices, dilemmas, favorites, recipes and all other things related.

Because recording myself, thoughts and feelings in the moment is way more effective than remembering to write it down, and then remembering to relay the message to you at some point, whether in a blog post or reel or short.

So I started hitting the record button and the video for this week is the result.

It was an eventful week, unintentionally!

  • I went to work (I’m a math teacher), with all my duties and stresses and such.

  • I took off on Tuesday and took my dad to the dentist.

  • I went out to dinner for my brother’s birthday.

  • I took a half day on Friday and went to a family funeral.

  • I went out to eat again over the weekend.

That probably seems like a normal-ish., busy week.  But when you factor in HOW I’M GOING TO EAT ACCORDING TO MY BLOOD TYPE it takes some serious planning and problem-solving.

And guess what… most of these are problems that I’ve already solved as a seasoned Type O Dieter. Now I’m at a point where I’m putting the solutions all into action.

As you will see, though, I did run into a few hiccups throughout the week, like not asking thorough enough questions about the sweet potato fries while out to eat.  But I learned a new cooking method called “double-frying” and can ask about this next time I order sweet potato fries.

So come watch!  I’m excited to share this new side of me with you, and for you to learn techniques to use as you move through life and need to eat.  Because I’m convinced that everything revolves around food!
